The drivers for your printer will start downloading.

When the Printers on Network List screen appears, select the printer to be used (verify by Serial Number*) and click Next.
The setup program will search for the printer on the network. On the Check Power screen, make sure that the printer is powered on. On the Select Connection Method screen select Wired LAN Connection and click Next.
The setup program will check the printer status.
If you choose not to participate in this program, it will not affect your ability to use the printer. Note that participating in this program is optional. When the Extended Survey Program window appears, read through the information pertaining to this program. Then, click Next.īe sure to select Yes on the License Agreement in order to continue.

This may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection. The installer program will obtain information on the latest drivers and software available for your printer. Enter your user account name and password for your Mac.
A prompt will appear indicating that the setup program is trying to install a helper tool.
Double-click the Setup icon when the Canon_IJ window opens.
After the file has downloaded, double-click the downloaded.
Access the Setup page for your printer ( MB2720 / MB5120 / MB5420), read the information then click the Download button to download the setup file.
The ethernet connection between the printer and the router is now active.
